Knock Sensor: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Remove the intake manifold.

NOTE: The Knock Sensor (KS) is located on top of the cylinder block, under the intake manifold.

2. Disconnect engine control sensor wiring from the knock sensor.
3. Remove knock sensor from the cylinder block.

INSTALLATION
1. Follow removal procedure in reverse order.
2. Tighten knock sensor to 29-39 Nm (22-28 lb ft).
