VEHICLE DYNAMICS MODULE REPLACEMENT

Affected Vehicles:
1997 Lincoln Continentals Produced From Start of 1997 Model Production Through February 4, 1997 and Built at the Wixom Assembly Plant

Inspection

1. Unsnap upper luggage compartment trim panel. Let panel swing downward.

2. Unsnap module tray assembly clips. Let tray swing downward.





3. Check part number on VDM module. See Figure 1.

^ If suffix on part number is NOT AC (F70F-3B494-AC), then VDM must be replaced. Refer to Service Procedure to replace VDM. If suffix IS AC no service is required. Return vehicle to the customer.
