Lower Intake Manifold




Following sequence shown, tighten fasteners 1 through 20 in numerical sequence as follows:
Step 1 ... Fasteners 5, 7, 9 and 11 to 12-15 Nm (9-11 ft. lbs.).
Step 2 ... All other fasteners to 18-22 Nm (14-16 ft. lbs.).
Step 3 ... Then tighten all fasteners in numerical sequence by rotating an additional 85-95°.

Intake Manifold Runner Control (IMRC)
Retaining Bolts To Intake Manifold





Tighten four upper intake manifold-to-lower intake manifold retaining bolts (A-D) in two steps:
Step 1 ... Tighten to 8-10 Nm (71-88 inch lbs.).
Step 2 ... Rotate an additional 85-95°.

Adjusting Bracket ... 8-11.5 Nm (71-101 inch lbs.)

Throttle Body
Install throttle body, new throttle body gasket and the retaining bolts and stud bolt to the upper intake manifold. Tighten retaining bolts and stud bolt to 8-10 Nm (71-88 lb in). Rotate bolts an additional 85-95 degrees.
