Upper
REMOVAL1. Turn off air suspension service switch (located in luggage compartment).
2. Raise vehicle.
3. Remove wheel and tire assembly.
4. Disconnect air suspension height sensor from ball stud pin on rear suspension arm and bushing.
5. Loosen but do not remove upper ball joint-to-upper rear suspension arm nut. Using Tie Rod End Remover TOOL-3290-D or equivalent, separate ball joint from rear suspension arm and bushing. Remove nut.
6. Remove rear suspension arm-to-body nuts and bolts.
7. Remove rear suspension arm and bushing from vehicle.
INSTALLATION
1. Position rear suspension arm and bushing in vehicle.
2. Install rear suspension arm-to-body bolts and nuts. Tighten to 97.7-132.3 Nm (72-98 ft. lbs.).
3. Position ball joint into rear suspension arm and bushing. Install new nut. Tighten to 68-92 Nm (50-68 ft. lbs.).
4. Install air suspension height sensor onto ball stud pin.
5. Install wheel and tire assembly. Tighten lug nuts to 115-142 Nm (85-104 ft. lbs.).
6. Lower vehicle.
7. Turn on air suspension service switch.
