Control Arm: Testing and Inspection

FRONT OF VEHICLE

1. Raise vehicle until wheels fall to full down position.
2. Support the front suspension lower arm so there is no load on the bushing being tested.
3. If any unrestrained motion (freeplay) is apparent in a shake test, the front suspension lower arm should be replaced.
