Rear
REMOVAL1. Turn air suspension service switch OFF.
2. Raise vehicle on hoist. Remove wheel and tire assembly.
CAUTION: Use extreme care not to damage boot seal. Do not use power tools to remove the nut or bearing and seal damage will result.
3. Loosen the nut first. Then remove nut from stud using the hex hold feature to prevent the stud from rotating. Remove stabilizer bar link-to-stabilizer bar nuts.
4. Mark orientation of rear stabilizer bar for proper installation. Remove stabilizer bar insulator bracket mounting bolts and stabilizer bar bracket.
5. Remove rear stabilizer bar from vehicle.
6. Remove insulators from rear stabilizer bar.
INSTALLATION
1. Install insulators on rear stabilizer bar with opening facing rear of vehicle.
NOTE: Green color code RH side of vehicle.
2. Position rear stabilizer bar in vehicle.
3. Install stabilizer bar bracket and stabilizer bar brackets mounting bolts. Tighten bolts to 26-34 Nm (19-25 ft. lbs.).
CAUTION: Use extreme care not to damage boot seal. Do not use power tools to install nut or bearing and seal damage will result.
4. Install nut using the hex hold feature to prevent the stud from rotating. Position rear stabilizer bar link and bushing into rear stabilizer bar. Install nuts. Tighten to 34-46 Nm (25-34 ft. lbs.).
5. Install wheel and tire assembly. Tighten lug nuts to 115-142 Nm (85-104 ft. lbs.).
6. Lower vehicle. Turn air suspension service switch ON.
