Turn Signals: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Push the top and the inside edge of the outside rear view mirror glass to the maximum travel.







2. Insert a long, thin-blade standard screwdriver behind the outside rear view mirror glass and under the ground illumination lamp housing retaining clip.







3. Turn the screwdriver (counterclockwise for the driver side or clockwise for the passenger side) to disengage the retaining clip and release the ground illumination lamp housing from the outside rear view mirror.







4. Disconnect the turn signal wires and ground illumination lamp socket and remove the ground illumination lamp housing.







INSTALLATION
1. Install the ground illumination lamp housing.
1 Connect the turn signal wires and the ground illumination lamp socket.
2 Slide the ground illumination lamp housing into the outside rear view mirror until it snaps into place.
