Outside Rear View Mirror

POWER
The outside rear view mirrors are:
^ Power and heated standard.
^ Fold-away type.
^ Comprised of outside rear view mirror motor, outside rear view mirror plate retainers and outside rear view mirror glass which can be serviced separately.
^ Controlled by the outside rear view mirror control located in the front door trim panel.

The outside rear view mirror control operates both RH and LH outside rear view mirrors and has the following characteristics:
^ Selection is made by moving the outside rear view mirror control to the LH or RH position to control the appropriate outside rear view mirror requiring adjustment.
^ The outside rear view mirror control is designed to tilt the outside rear view mirror up, down, left or right by pressing the push button on the arrow indicating the desired direction.

The heated operating mode is turned on when the heated back window switch is turned ON.

Sensors on the outside rear view mirror determine movement. If these sensors are not connected, the system will not work.

AUTOMATIC DIMMING
^ The driver outside rear view mirror automatic dimming functions same as inside rear view mirror.
^ Outside rear view mirror receives input from the photocell located in the inside rear view mirror.
