Driver Seat Sensor Switch and Wire

REMOVAL
1. Remove seat and seat track assembly.
2. Remove front seat track from front seat cushion frame and spring.
3. Disconnect front seat back pad adjusting tube from front seat back pad adjusting pump.
4. Disconnect J-retainer holding front of front seat cushion cover to front seat cushion frame and spring.







5. Separate front seat cushion cover and front seat cushion pad from front seat cushion frame and spring enough to access the seat occupied sensor switch and wire.
6. Disconnect seat occupied sensor switch harness connector and remove switch from front seat cushion frame and spring.

INSTALLATION
1. Follow removal procedure in reverse order. Verify seat occupied sensor switch and wire are positioned in center of front seat cushion frame and spring and function smoothly. Tuck nose of switch underneath flexilator wire if necessary. Tighten nuts retaining front seat track to front seat cushion frame and spring to 17-23 Nm (13-16 Lb-Ft).
