Programming Memory Seat/Mirror
PROGRAMMING
This system allows the automatic positioning of the driver seat and outside rear view mirror.
^ To program position 1, move the seats and mirrors to the desired positions by using seat regulator control. Press the SET button. Within five seconds (before the Light Emitting Diode (LED) goes out), press button 1.
^ To program position 2, repeat the previous procedure but use button 2.
^ To program position 3, repeat the previous procedure but use buttons 1 and 2 simultaneously.
^ To recall a position, press the appropriate button or buttons. A position can only be recalled while in PARK or NEUTRAL. They can be set at any time.
Memory is stored in the driver seat module.
PROGRAMMING MODE INTERRUPT
If the power mirror controls are operated while the driver door module is in the program mode, the driver door module will ignore all data concerning the current mirror positions and retain the information which was in memory prior to entering the program mode.
INITIAL START-UP/LOW VOLTAGE CONDITIONS
When power is first applied to the power feed input, or when this input is allowed to drop below 7 volts for more than 300 milliseconds and again goes above 7 volts, the driver seat module will enter the program mode. It will then store the current positions of the mirrors in all three memory positions.
MEMORY SEAT
Activating any seat or mirror manual position switch stops memory position recall. Repositioning will resume if the position recall switch is pressed again.
