Security Lighting

The security lighting function provides exterior lighting as follows:
^ System operates when the ambient light available to the light sensor amplifier is below a predetermined level.
^ The system, like the illuminated entry system, may be activated three ways:
- any button on the keyless entry keypad is pressed
- any outside door handle is lifted
- the UNLOCK button on the keyless entry remote transmitter is pressed
^ The lighting control module will turn parking lamps, tail lamps and headlamps on after a momentary delay if it is dark outside.
^ Lamps will remain on for approximately 25 seconds.
^ Security lighting turns off with the autolamp delayed exit function.
^ Whenever the LOCK button on the keyless entry remote transmitter is pressed:
- Parking lamps and tail lamps will flash momentarily.
- The horn will chirp.
