A/C Suction Hose/Line

NOTE: Whenever a refrigerant line is replaced, it will be necessary to replace the suction accumulator/drier.

REMOVAL
1. Discharge the refrigerant from the A/C system and observing all safety precautions.
2. Remove the A/C cycling switch.
3. Disconnect and remove the evaporator to compressor suction line using Spring Lock Coupling Disconnect Tools T83P-19623-C and T81P-19623-G2.

INSTALLATION
1. With the protective caps installed, route the new refrigerant line.
2. Remove protective caps then connect the evaporator to compressor suction line into the system using new O-ring seals lubricated with clean Motorcraft YN-12b refrigerant oil or equivalent meeting Ford specification WSH-M1C231-B.
3. Install the A/C cycling switch.
4. Leak-test, evacuate and charge the refrigerant system and safety precautions.Discharging and Recovery
5. Check the A/C system for proper operation.
