Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview
1. Verify the customer's concern by operating the vehicle to duplicate the condition.2. Inspect the following to determine if one of the mechanical or electrical concerns apply:
Mechanical
- Shock absorber failure
- Leak from air line(s)
- Leak from air spring(s)
- Ruptured air spring(s)
- Height sensor damaged
- Height sensor off ball studs
Electrical
- Open Fuses:
- Power Distribution Box
- Fuse U (30A),
- Fuse Junction Panel,
- Fuse 7 (15A)
- Loose Connectors
- Corroded Connectors
- Air Suspension Service Switch OFF
3. If inspection reveals obvious concerns that can be readily identified, service as required.
4. If the concern(s) remains after the inspection determine the symptom(s) and go to the Symptom Chart. Symptom Related Diagnostic Procedures
