Window Regulator: Service and Repair

The front door power window regulator should be well lubricated to provide ease of operation. The front door power window regulator should be lubricated whenever the front door glass top run or front door power window regulator is removed, or excessive effort is required to operate the windows. To lubricate a front door power window regulator, apply an even coating of Teflon(R) Lubricant E7FZ-19590-A or equivalent meeting Ford specification ESB-M1C111-A to the window regulator arm rollers, shafts and entire length of the window regulator equalizer arm brackets.
