Memory Mirror

The memory mirror:
- position is stored in the driver seat module.
- automatically repositions upon entry by one of the following procedures:
^ keyless entry remote transmitter with lockout set to 1 or 2.
^ keyless entry keypad code stored to position 1 or 2.
^ pressing memory off/recall switch 1 or 2.

The driver door module sends a message to the driver seat module to restore the last mirror position stored for driver 1 or driver 2.
- recall positioning is cancelled by any of the following actions:
^ pressing the OFF button on the memory off/recall switch.
^ pressing the outside rear view mirror motor.
^ adjusting the driver seat using the seat regulator control switch.
^ operating the steering column tilt/telescope adjustment switch on the multi-function switch.

The driver seat and steering column tilt/telescope memory recall adjustments will also be cancelled if in motion.
- automatically saves new mirror position to driver 1 or driver 2 if the vehicle was entered using a recognized driver 1 or driver 2 entry procedure. The new position will be saved after two seconds and the message center indicator module will read DRIVER 1 (or 2-SETTINGS SAVED to alert driver of new setting.
