REMOVAL







1. Disconnect the compass module connector and remove the compass module.

CAUTION: The inside rear view mirror is of the breakaway design. Excessive force in any direction will cause damage to the inside rear view mirror.







2. Remove the inside rear view mirror.
1 Disconnect the inside rear view mirror connector.
2 Insert a small flat-blade screwdriver into the slot at the base of the inside rear view mirror. Hold the inside rear view mirror and pull the screwdriver rearward until the inside rear view mirror snaps off the inside rear view mirror bracket.

INSTALLATION







1. Install the inside rear view mirror.
1 Slide the inside rear view mirror onto the inside rear view mirror bracket. Use the Rear View Mirror Replacer to complete the installation.
2 Connect the inside rear view mirror connector.

NOTE: If the inside rear view mirror bracket becomes separated from the windshield glass, be sure to remove all the old adhesive and clean the inside rear view mirror bracket throughly before applying Rearview Mirror Adhesive D9AZ-19554-CA or an equipment meeting Ford specification ESB-M2G176-A.







2. Connect the compass connector and snap the compass module onto the inside rear view mirror. Check the mirror looseness and confirm proper compass and automatic dimming function.
