Driver or Passenger Front Seat
DISASSEMBLY1. Remove the front seat.
2. Remove the two power seat regulator control knobs.
3. Remove the front seat cushion side shield.
1 Uncover and remove the two screws.
2 Remove the front seat cushion side shield.
4. Remove the front safety belt buckle end.
5. Remove the front safety belt buckle support.
1 Remove the screws.
2 Remove the nut.
3 Remove the front safety belt buckle support.
6. Release the seat cushion cover j-clips.
7. Remove the nuts and the seat track.
8. Remove the screws and the module tray.
9. Disconnect the connectors.
10. Turn the module over and remove the screws.
11. Disconnect the front seat back latch connectors.
12. Remove the bolts and the front seat back latch.
13. Remove the front seat back inboard pivot bolt. Disconnect the connectors and remove the front seat back from the front seat cushion frame and spring.
14. Remove the front seat back head restraint.
1 Pull the front seat back head restraint up.
2 Release the front seat head rest guide rod sleeve.
3 Remove the clips and the front seat back head restraint.
15. Remove the back of the front seat back cover.
1 Remove the front seat back latch handle knob.
2 Remove the front seat back latch handle bezel.
3 Remove the back of the front seat back cover.
16. Disengage the J-retainers and unfasten the Velcro(R) to remove the front seat back cover.
17. Disassemble the front seat back.
1 Remove the heat element assembly.
2 Remove the pushpins.
3 Remove the front seat back rear panel.
4 Remove the front seat back pad.
18. Remove the clips, the rivets and the front seat back pad adjuster.
19. Disassemble the front seat cushion frame and spring.
1 Disengage the J-retainers.
2 Unfasten the Velcro(R).
3 Remove the hog rings.
4 Remove the front seat cushion cover.
5 Remove the front seat cushion heat element.
6 Remove the front seat cushion pad.
20. Remove the heated seat module.
1 Remove the rivets.
2 Remove the heated seat module.
ASSEMBLY
1. Follow the disassembly procedure in reverse order.
