Flow of Diagnosis

1. Verify the customer concern by operating the backup lamps to duplicate the condition.
2. Inspect to determine if one of the following electrical concerns apply:

VISUAL INSPECTION CHART

Electrical
- Circuity open/shorted
- Damaged fuse junction panel fuse 34 (15 A)
- Miniature bulb burned out
- Damaged Transmission Range (TR) sensor

3. If the inspection reveals obvious concern(s) that can be readily identified, repair as required.
4. If the concern(s) remains after the inspection, determine the symptom(s) and proceed to Symptom Chart. Symptom Related Diagnostic Procedures
