Camshaft Position Sensor: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.







2. Remove the bolts from the power steering pump reservoir.







3. Disconnect the engine control sensor wiring from the Camshaft Position sensor (CMP sensor).







4. Remove the camshaft position sensor.
1 Remove the bolt from the camshaft position sensor.
2 Remove the camshaft position sensor from the vehicle.
5. Clean the gasket surface.












INSTALLATION
1. Follow the removal procedure in reverse order.

CAUTION: Do not overtighten the screw or damage to camshaft position sensor may occur.
