Coolant Temperature Sensor/Switch (For Computer): Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Partially drain the cooling system.







3. Remove the two nuts and the bolts and lift and remove the generator support bracket.







4. Press tab and pull the engine control sensor wiring connector away from the Engine Coolant Temperature sensor (ECT sensor).







5. Remove the engine coolant temperature sensor from the water bypass tube.







INSTALLATION
1. Follow the removal procedure in reverse order.
