Throttle Position Sensor: Service and Repair

REMOVAL







1. Remove the rubber boot.







2. Disconnect the connector from the Throttle Position sensor (TP sensor).







3. Remove the throttle position sensor.
1 Remove the screws from the throttle position sensor.
2 Remove the throttle position sensor from the vehicle.







INSTALLATION
1. To install a new throttle position sensor, follow the removal procedure in reverse order.

NOTE: The throttle position sensor cannot be adjusted. If necessary it must be replaced.

2. Cycle the throttle lever to Wide Open Throttle (WOT). It should return without interference.
