Ignition Switch: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Remove the ignition switch lock cylinder.





2. Remove the bolts and the instrument panel steering column cover.





3. Position the ignition switch cylinder bracket aside.
1 Remove the bolts.
2 Disconnect the electrical connectors.
3 Position the ignition switch cylinder bracket aside.





4. Remove the ignition switch cylinder bracket.
1 Remove the bolts.
2 Disconnect the ignition/shifter interlock cable.
3 Remove the ignition switch cylinder bracket.





5. Remove the ignition switch.
1 Remove the bolt.
2 Remove the ignition switch.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
