REMOVAL





1. Turn the air suspension service switch OFF.

WARNING. THE ELECTRICAL POWER TO THE AIR SUSPENSION SYSTEM MUST BE TURNED OFF PRIOR TO HOISTING, JACKING OR TOWING AN AIR SUSPENSION VEHICLE. FAILURE TO DO SO CAN RESULT IN UNEXPECTED INFLATION OR DEFLATION OF THE AIR SPRINGS WHICH CAN RESULT IN SHIFTING OF THE VEHICLE DURING THESE OPERATIONS.

2. Raise the vehicle on a hoist.
3. Remove the wheel and tire assembly.





4. Remove the rear-disc brake caliper and rear disc brake rotor.





5. Release the air pressure from the air spring by removing the solenoid valve.

WARNING: DO NOT REMOVE AN AIR SPRING UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES WHEN THERE IS PRESSURE IN THE AIR SPRING. DO NOT REMOVE ANY COMPONENTS SUPPORTING AN AIR SPRING WITHOUT EXHAUSTING THE AIR.





6. Remove the air suspension height sensor.
7. Separate the air spring from the rear suspension arm and bushing.
8. Remove the shock absorber.
9. Remove the rear wheel knuckle and hub assembly.





10. Remove the sway bar link nut, washer and bushing, and remove the link.





11. Mark the position of the front and rear cam bolts, and the subframe.





12. Remove the exhaust hanger bracket bolt, and position the exhaust system for clearance of the rear lower arm cam bolt.





13. Remove the front lower arm cam bolt and nut.





14. Remove the rear lower arm cam bolt and nut, and remove the lower arm.





15. Remove the lower arm suspension compensator link.

INSTALLATION





1. Install the lower arm suspension compensator link.





2. Position the lower arm in vehicle, and install the rear cam bolt and nut hand-tight, aligning the marks on the sub-frame and the cam bolt.

Camber Adjustment Cam:





3. Install the front lower arm cam bolt and nut hand-tight, aligning the marks on the sub-frame and the cam bolt.





4. Install the exhaust hanger bracket bolt.





5. Install the stabilizer bar link, bushing, washer and nut.
6. Position the air spring in the rear suspension arm and bushing.
7. Install the rear wheel knuckle and hub assembly.
8. Install the shock absorber.
9. Install the rear disc brake caliper and rear disc brake rotor.





10. Install the air suspension height sensor.





11. Install the solenoid valve.

Camber Adjustment Cam:





12. Tighten the rear cam bolt to specification with the alignment marks in position.





13. Tighten the front cam bolt to specification with the alignment marks in position.
14. Install the wheel and tire assembly.





15. Turn ON the air suspension service switch.
16. Check and adjust camber and toe.
