Upper

REMOVAL





1. Turn the air suspension service switch OFF, if so equipped.

WARNING: THE ELECTRICAL POWER TO THE AIR SUSPENSION SYSTEM MUST BE TURNED OFF PRIOR TO HOISTING, JACKING OR TOWING AN AIR SUSPENSION VEHICLE. FAILURE TO DO SO-CAN RESULT IN UNEXPECTED INFLATION OR DEFLATION OF THE AIR SPRINGS OR SHOCKS WHICH CAN RESULT IN SHIFTING OF. THE VEHICLE DURING THESE OPERATIONS.

2. Raise the vehicle and install safety stands.
3. Remove the wheel and tire assembly.





4. Remove the rear disc brake caliper and rear disc brake rotor.





5. Release the air pressure from the air spring by removing the solenoid valve.

WARNING: DO NOT REMOVE AN AIR SPRING UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES WHEN THERE IS PRESSURE IN THE AIR SPRING. DO NOT REMOVE ANY COMPONENTS SUPPORTING AN AIR SPRING WITHOUT EXHAUSTING THE AIR.





6. Remove the upper rear suspension arm and bushing-to-rear wheel knuckle nut and bolt.





7. Remove the upper rear suspension arm and bushing-to-rear sub-frame nut and bolt, and remove the rear upper suspension arm.

INSTALLATION





1. Position the upper suspension arm in the rear sub-frame, and install the upper rear suspension arm and bushing-to-rear sub-frame nut and bolt.





2. Install the upper rear suspension arm and bushing-to-rear wheel knuckle nut and bolt.





3. Install the solenoid valve.
4. Install the rear disc brake caliper and rear disc brake rotor.
5. Install the wheel and tire assembly.





6. Turn the air suspension service switch ON.
