Windows: Description and Operation

The glass system is comprised of the:
- windshield glass
- window regulator control switch
- front door window glass
- quarter window glass
- back window glass
- heated back window switch and light

WINDSHIELD
The windshield glass is:
- a standard safety glass, a plastic laminate sandwiched between two sheets of glass.
- bonded to the pinch weld with urethane sealant.

DOOR GLASS
The front door window glass is:
- standard safety glass.
- mounted along the bottom edge to a slider bracket by snap-in nylon inserts.

REAR QUARTER GLASS
The quarter window glass is:
- standard safety glass.
- bolted to the opening flange.

BACK WINDOW GLASS
The back window glass:
- is tempered glass.
- is bonded to the opening flange by urethane sealant.
- has integral mouldings.
- has rear defog grid lines bonded in two layers to the inner surface.
- has a separate FM antenna on-glass tracing above the defroster grid.
