Interior Moulding / Trim: Description and Operation
INTERIOR TRIMThe interior trim consists of:
- A-pillar lower trim panel
- center body pillar interior upper finish panels
- center body pillar interior lower finish panels
- door trim panels
- headliner
- package tray trim panel
- roof side rear trim panel
- sun visor clips
- sunvisors
- tether anchor covers
- windshield side garnish mouldings
The interior trim has the following features:
- The front door trim panels (23942) are covered with either vinyl or carpet.
- The rear door trim panels (27406) are covered with either vinyl or carpet.
- The roof headlining (51916) is a one-piece design that covers the entire roof.
- The package tray trim panel (46668) is made of fiber board.
- The luggage compartment trim panels are 7-ounce polo carpet.
- The remaining panels are plastic.
- Many of the interior trim panels use concealed fasteners.
- The universal transmitter is an integral part of the inside visor (04104) and is serviced in Garage Door Opener Transmitter.
