Connecting Rod Bolt/Nut
1. Install No. 1 and 6 pistons, rod and caps. Install bolts.
2. Note: Rod bearing cap bolts are torque to yield and must be replaced each time they are serviced.
Tighten the bolts in the sequence shown.
3. To install No. 3 and 5, 4 and 7, 2 and 8, turn the crankshaft 90 degrees and repeat Steps 3 and 4.
4. Measure the connecting rod clearance.
