Overhead Console MAP Lamp Assembly

REMOVAL







1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.







2. Open the front and rear storage compartments.







3. Remove the overhead console assembly screws.







4. Remove the overhead console assembly.
1 Disconnect the lamp switch electrical connector.
2 Remove the lamp socket screws.
3 Remove the overhead console assembly.

NOTE: The lamp sockets and wiring harnesses are part of the headliner and must be replaced as an assembly.

INSTALLATION







1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

NOTE: When the battery is disconnected and reconnected, some abnormal drive symptoms may occur while the vehicle relearns its adaptive strategy. The vehicle may need to be driven 16 km (10 mi) or more to relearn the strategy.
