Tail Lamp: Service and Repair

REMOVAL







1. Remove the luggage compartment cover.
1 Remove the pushpins.
2 Remove the luggage compartment cover.







2. Pull back the luggage compartment carpet.







3. Disconnect the rear lamp electrical connector.







4. Remove the nuts.







5. Remove the rear lamp assembly.


INSTALLATION







1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

CAUTION: To prevent water from entering the luggage compartment, be sure the rubber grommet is fully seated.

NOTE: When the battery is disconnected and reconnected, some abnormal drive symptoms may occur while the vehicle relearns its adaptive strategy. The vehicle may need to be driven 16 km (10 mi) or more to relearn the strategy.
