Aft
REMOVAL1. Remove the radiator upper sight shield.
2. Perform the Refrigerant Discharging and Recovery Procedure.
3. Remove the screws and reposition the windshield washer fluid reservoir filler.
4. Remove the screws and remove the RH fender support brace.
5. Remove the screws and reposition the power steering fluid reservoir.
6. Remove the air suspension air compressor and drier assembly. For additional information, refer to Electronic Level Control.
7. Disconnect the electrical connector from the engine coolant level sensor.
8. Remove the screw and the nut and reposition the degas bottle.
9. Remove the nut from the A/C hose support bracket.
10. Raise the vehicle. For additional information, refer to Maintenance/Service and Repair.
11. Disconnect the aft condenser to evaporator tube spring lock coupling from the A/C evaporator core.
12. Disconnect the aft condenser to evaporator tube spring lock coupling from the forward condenser to evaporator tube and remove the aft condenser to evaporator tube.
INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Lubricate the refrigerant system with the correct amount of PAG Compressor Oil YN-12c, F7AZ-19589-DA or equivalent meeting Ford specification WSH-M1C231-B. Refrigerant Oil Addition
