Jumper Line
REMOVAL1. Remove the radiator upper sight shield.
2. Perform the Refrigerant Discharging and Recovery Procedure.
3. Remove the screws and reposition the windshield washer fluid reservoir filler.
4. Remove the screws and remove the RH fender support brace.
5. Remove the screws and reposition the power steering fluid reservoir.
6. Remove the air suspension air compressor and drier assembly. For additional information, refer to Electronic Level Control.
7. Remove the screw from the wrap-around clip on the evaporator to compressor suction line.
8. Raise the vehicle. For additional information, refer to Maintenance/Service and Repair.
9. Remove the radiator air deflector.
- Remove the pin-type retainers.
- Remove the screws and remove the radiator air deflector.
10. Disconnect the evaporator to compressor suction line spring lock coupling from the A/C manifold and tube.
11. Lower the vehicle.
12. Disconnect the evaporator to compressor suction line spring lock coupling from the suction accumulator/drier and remove the evaporator to compressor suction line.
INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Lubricate the refrigerant system with the correct amount of PAG compressor oil, YN-12c, F7AZ-19589-DA or equivalent meeting Ford specification WSH-M1C231-B. Refrigerant Oil Addition
