Air Flow Meter/Sensor: Service Precautions

CAUTION:
- The mass air flow sensor hot wire sensing element and housing are calibrated as a unit and must be repaired as a complete assembly. Do not damage the sensing element (internal to housing) or failure of the Mass Air Flow Sensor (MAF sensor) may occur.
- The mass air flow sensor cover is indexed. If the cover is not installed correctly damage to the mass air flow sensor will occur.
