Seat Track: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

WARNING: BE SURE TO READ AND FOLLOW ALL AIR BAG WARNINGS CONTAINED IN SEAT-FRONT SEAT BACKREST AND FRAME WITH SIDE AIR BAG DISASSEMBLY AND ASSEMBLY PROCEDURES.

CAUTION: Use care when handling the seat and track assembly. Dropping the assembly or sitting on a seat not secured in the vehicle may result in damaged components.

1. Remove the front cushion side shield. For additional information, refer to Seat-Front Cushion Side Shield.
2. Remove the seat backrest. For additional information, refer to Seat Backrest-Front.







3. Remove the nuts and the seat track.







4. Remove the wiring harness, driver seat module, seat track trim panel, and if equipped, the heated seat module.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
