Thermostatic Expansion Valve

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the battery. For additional information, refer to Battery.
2. Perform the Refrigerant Discharging and Recovery Procedure.
3. Remove the evaporator core. For additional information, refer to Evaporator Core.







4. Disconnect the thermostatic expansion valve fittings.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Lubricate the O-ring seals with PAG Refrigerant Compressor Oil YN-12-C, F7AZ-19589-DA or equivalent meeting Ford specification WSH-M1C231-B.
