Front Door: Service and Repair

DOOR

Removal
1. Remove the door trim panel.
2. Disconnect the body harness electrical connectors from the components in the door.

3. NOTE: Do not scribe the hinge location.

Mark the hinge location on the door.







4. Remove the grommet and the body harness.







5. NOTE: An assistant is required to support the door during its removal.

Remove the bolts and remove the door.

Installation







1. Install the door and hand-tighten the bolts.







2. Align the door and tighten the bolts.







3. Install the grommet and connect the electrical connectors.
4. Install the door trim panel.
