Tests AD: DTC B1892 - Air Bag Tone Indicator CKT Shorted to GND or Open

Normal Operation
The Restraints Control Module (RCM) monitors its connection to the Lighting Control Module (LCM) at C221 pin 26. This connection is used to signal a chime if the air bag indicator is inoperative and another SRS fault exists. If the RCM detects a short to ground or open on the connection to the LCM, it will store a Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) B1892 in memory.

Possible Causes
An air bag tone warning indicator circuit short to ground or open can be caused by:
^ a short to ground or open on circuit 1083 (LB/BK).
^ a damaged or inoperative LCM.
