Headlamp Switch: Service and Repair

Radio Removal Tool:

SPECIAL SERVICE TOOL(S)

REMOVAL







1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.







2. Pull out the radio using the Radio Removal Tools.







3. Remove the radio.
1 Disconnect the electrical connectors.
2 Disconnect the antenna cable.
3 Remove the radio.







4. Remove the cluster finish panel bolts.







5. Remove the cluster finish panel bolts.







6. Pull out and position aside the cluster finish panel.







7. Disconnect the clock electrical connector.







8. Remove the cluster finish panel.
1 Disconnect the headlamp switch electrical connector.
2 Disconnect the dimmer switch electrical connector.
3 Remove the cluster finish panel.







9. Remove the headlamp switch.
1 Remove the screws.
2 Remove the headlamp switch.

INSTALLATION












1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

NOTE: When the battery is disconnected and reconnected, some abnormal drive symptoms may occur while the vehicle relearns its adaptive strategy. The vehicle may need to be driven 16 km (10 mi) or more to relearn the strategy.
