CAUTION:
- Steering linkage fasteners are important parts because they could affect the performance of vital components and systems and could result in major service expense. They must be replaced with the same part number or with an equivalent part if replacement becomes necessary. Do not use a replacement part of lesser quality or substitute design. Torque values must be used as specified during reassembly to maintain proper retention of these parts.
- Never straighten bent linkage, use new parts.

The steering linkage consists of the following components:
- steering gear sector shaft arm.
- steering sector shaft arm drag link.
- steering idler arm and bracket assembly.
- tie-rod end and front wheel spindle tie-rod adjusting sleeve assemblies.
