OVERVIEW

The seat belt and retractor assembly for the left rear seating position is the only retractor affected by this program. The tongue of the seat belt must be inspected to determine if replacement is required.

SERVICE PROCEDURE





1. Inspect the left rear seat belt tongue. See Figure 1.

^ If the tongue is the two (2) hole design, replacement is not required. Release the vehicle to the customer.

^ If the tongue is the one (1) hole design, replace the retractor assembly. Follow the service procedure in section 501-20A of the appropriate Workshop Manual.
