Window Frame: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Remove the front door trim panel and the watershield.
2. Lower the front door window glass.







3. Remove the bolts.







4. Remove the front door glass top run.

INSTALLATION







1. Install the front section of the retainer into the door.







2. Install the front door glass top run into the corner.







3. Fully seat the front door glass top run down the B-pillar and position it around the window glass.







4. Fully seat the B-pillar corner using hand pressure.







5. Fully seat the front door glass top run along the top of the window opening.

NOTE: Make sure the B-pillar corner remains fully seated.







6. Fully seat the front door glass top run from the front corner down, positioning the front door glass top run around the window glass.







7. Install the bolts.
