Normal Operation
The driver door module (DDM) receives lock/unlock inputs from the driver door lock control switch, remote transmitter or keyless entry keypad. The DDM sends an SCP message to the rear electronic module (REM) for the lock/unlock function.
The REM receives lock/unlock input from the DDM and the passenger door lock control switch. The REM will then lock/unlock the RH front door and RH rear door by utilizing circuit 32AA1 (WH/RD), circuit 33-AA25 (YE/RD), circuit 33-AA2 (YE/RD), circuit 32-AA21 (WH/GN), circuit 33-AA20 (YE/BU) and circuit 32-AA26 (WH/BU).
Possible Causes
- circuit 32-AA21 (WH/GN) shorted to ground or open
- circuit 32-AA1 (WH/RD) shorted to ground or open
- circuit 32-AA26 (WH/BU) shorted to ground or open
- circuit 33-AA20 (YE/BU) shorted to ground or open
- circuit 33-AA2 (YE/RD) shorted to ground or open
- circuit 33-AA25 (YE/RD) shorted to ground or open
- door latch (front or rear)
