REAR SEATREMOVAL

1. Remove the components in the order listed in the illustration and table. To remove individual components, only carry out the listed steps.
Item 1: Rear Seat Cushion Mini-Buckle Removal Note
1. Using a suitable tool, release the mini-buckle.
Item 2: Cushion Release Levers Removal Note
1. Release the two levers located at the lower outboard edges of the seat cushion, lift the cushion up and pull the cushion out.
Item 3: Rear Seat Cushion Removal Note
1. Disconnect the heated seat electrical connectors at both outboard sides of the seat cushion (if equipped).
Item 5: Left Side Bolster Release Lever Removal Note
1. Pull down the lever to release the LH latch. Remove the left bolster.
Item 7: 60 Percent Seat Backrest Fasteners Removal Note
1. NOTE: Original fasteners must be discarded and new service fasteners installed. Service fasteners can be reused.
Remove the rear seat backrest fasteners and discard.
Item 8: 60 Percent Seat Backrest Removal Note
1. From the luggage compartment, release the seat backrest.
Item 10: Right Side Bolster Release Lever Removal Note
1. Push up the lever to release the RH latch (left side shown). Remove the right bolster.
Item 12: 40 Percent Seat Backrest Fasteners Removal Note
1. NOTE: Original fasteners must be discarded and new service fasteners installed. Service fasteners can be reused.
Remove the rear seat backrest fasteners and discard.
Item 13: 40 Percent Seat Backrest Removal Note
1. From the luggage compartment, release the seat backrest.
INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
2. Check the active restraint system for correct operation.
Item 12: 40 Precent Seat Backrest Fasteners Installation Note
1. NOTE: Original fasteners must be discarded and new service fasteners installed. Service fasteners can be reused.
Install a new bolt and washer assembly W503942-S424.
Item 7: 60 Percent Seat Backrest Fasteners Installation Note
1. NOTE: Original fasteners must be discarded and new service fasteners installed. Service fasteners can be reused.
Install a new bolt and washer assembly W503942-S424.
