Pinpoint Test D: DTC B1990: Pedal Forward/Rearward Potentiometer Feedback Circuit Failure

Normal Operation
The adjustable brake and accelerator pedals with memory feature are controlled by the front electronic module (FEM) and are operational with the ignition switch ON or OFF. The FEM supplies power to the adjustable pedal two-way motor until the switch is released, or until the travel limit is reached. The memory feature allows the driver to program a personalized pedal position that can be recalled using the memory switches or remote keyless entry transmitters.

Possible Causes
^ Adjustable pedal motor feedback circuits 8-AL18 (WH/RD), circuit 7-AL18 (YE/RD), or circuit 9-AL18 (BN/RD)
^ FEM
^ Adjustable pedal potentiometer
