Test I

PINPOINT TEST I: THE POWER SUPPLY RELAY IS INOPERATIVE - SWITCHED SYSTEM POWER (SSP)3


Test I1-I3:






Normal Operation
Battery voltage is supplied to the SSP3 relay through battery junction box (BJB) fuse 24 (30A). Ground for the relay coil is controlled by the front electronic module (FEM) and rear electronic module (REM) through circuit 31S-DG55 (BK/RD). When the SSP3 relay is energized, battery voltage is switched from the BJB to circuit 30S-DB15 (RD/OG).

Possible Causes
- circuit 31S-DG55 (BK/RD) open
- circuit 30S-DB15 (RD/OG) open
- BJB
- SSP3 relay
