PINPOINT TEST E: THE CHARGING SYSTEM WARNING INDICATOR IS OFF WITH THE IGNITION SWITCH IN THE RUN POSITION AND THE ENGINE OFF

Test E1:

Normal Operation
The I circuit 8-BA25 (WH/RD) will be 0.1 volts with the key ON (C102a connected) and the engine not running. This will turn the charging system warning indicator on. This circuit is also used to turn the charging system warning indicator on if there is a fault in the charging system.

- generator
- instrument cluster
- powertrain control module (PCM)
