Stabilizer Bar and Link-Rear

CAUTION: Use the hex holding feature to prevent the ball studs from turning when removing the ball stud nuts.





1. For reference during the installation of the upper arm-to-frame fasteners, measure the distance between the center of the wheel hub and the lip of the fender with the weight of the vehicle resting on the wheel and tire assemblies.
2. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position on a hoist.
3. Remove the components in the order indicated in the following illustration and table.





4. To remove individual components, only carry out the listed steps.

5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
6. Before tightening the upper arm-to-frame fasteners, position a jack under the lower arm and raise the vehicle until the distance between the center of the hub and the dip of fender is equal to the measurement taken during the removal procedure.
