Normal Operation
During each key insertion and vehicle start sequence, the instrument cluster and the transceiver module reads the passive anti-theft system (PATS) key identification code.

Possible Causes
- PATS transceiver
- instrument cluster
- PATS key
- circuit 29S-GL36 (OG/BU) open or short to ground
- circuit 31-GL36 (BK) open or short to voltage
- circuit 10-GL36 (GY/RD) open or short to ground
- circuit 8-GL36 (WH/RD) open or short to ground
