PINPOINT TEST C: ALL DOOR LOCKS ARE INOPERATIVE - FROM THE DRIVER DOOR LOCK CONTROL SWITCHC1-C4:
C5-C8:
Normal Operation
The driver door lock control switch supplies a ground signal to the driver door module (DDM). When the DDM receives ground through circuit 8-AA10 (WH/BK), the DDM sends a message through the standard corporate protocol (SCP) network to the rear electronic module (REM,) which locks the passenger doors. At the same time the DDM locks the driver door. When the DDM receives ground through circuit 8-AA11 (WH/VT), the DDM sends a message through the SCP network to the REM, which unlocks the passenger doors at the same time the DDM unlocks the driver door.
Possible Causes
- circuit 8-AA10 (WH/BK) short to ground or open
- circuit 8-AA11 (WH/VT) short to ground or open
- circuit 31-LH28 (BK) open
- driver door lock control switch
- DDM
