Rear Seat Backrest

REAR SEAT BACKREST

Disassembly and Assembly

All backrests
1. Remove the rear seat backrest.

60 percent backrest
2. Remove the backrest folding armrest.

3. CAUTION: Use care when separating the seat upholstery from the hook and loop strip, or the hook and loop strip can be torn from the seat backrest foam pad.

Detach the 60 percent backrest J-strip and separate the backrest trim cover hook and loop fasteners.







4. Remove and discard the hog rings and remove the 60 percent backrest trim cover.
5. If equipped, remove the backrest heater element as needed from the 60 percent backrest foam pad.
6. Remove the 60 percent backrest support panel.

40 percent backrest

7. CAUTION: Use care when separating the seat upholstery from the hook and loop strip, or the hook and loop strip can be torn from the seat backrest foam pad.

Detach the 40 percent backrest J-strip and separate the backrest trim cover hook and loop fasteners.







8. Remove and discard the hog rings and remove the 40 percent backrest trim cover.
9. If equipped, remove the backrest heater element as needed from the 40 percent backrest foam pad.
10. Remove the 40 percent backrest support panel.

11. To assemble, reverse the disassembly procedure.
