Material

Removal
1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.
2. Remove the 2 brake caliper anchor plate bolts.

3. CAUTION: Using a suitable tool, support the brake caliper and brake caliper anchor plate to the vehicle.

Position the brake caliper anchor plate and brake caliper assembly aside.
4. Measure the brake disc thickness and install a new brake disc if it is not within specification.
5. Inspect the disc brake caliper and install a new one as required.

Installation
1. Clean any rust or debris from the brake disc and the wheel hub.
^ Use brake parts cleaner to clean the brake disc and hub surfaces.

2. CAUTION: Do not allow the lubricant to make contact with the wheel studs, brake pads, or brake disc.

Apply a thin coat of anti seize lubricant to the hub flange.
3. Position the brake caliper and brake caliper anchor plate assembly and install the 2 bolts.
^ Tighten to 103 Nm (76 ft. lbs.).
4. Test the brakes for normal operation.
